This is day 17 of my 30 day Aaptiv review.

Have you ever heard someone say they were going to start a diet or exercise program, but they were going to wait until after the holiday or a special event? I always hear people say things like that, and I think to myself that they aren’t really serious about getting healthy. Fact is, when you are serious about it, timing doesn’t matter.
I started this review on a whim. I didn’t consider that during this particular 30 day period we would celebrate Valentine’s Day, three birthdays in our immediate family, two more in our extended family, and have three trips planned.
There will never be a better time to start than right now. I started a little over two weeks ago, and I have already met my primary goals: to have energy and mental clarity.
Strength and endurance are great. A better booty is awesome. But I have so much energy, and it makes me a better wife and mother.
It kicked in yesterday, which was day 16 of my review. I woke up ready to conquer the world even though my toddler decided to wake me up all night. I had my pre-mom brain back. I have clear thoughts again! This is HUGE.
I had so much energy that it was difficult not to turn on Aaptiv when I needed to be doing other stuff. I made it the entire day without exercising, but I was more than ready to get going again this morning.
I am on a mission to try out some new workouts and trainers, so I did a quick HIIT with Candice this morning while my little one was playing in the bathtub (while watching her). Loved it! The music was great. Her instruction was clear and concise. There were burpees, mountain climbers, and bicycles. It was a great way to start my day!
Later, while the kids were riding bikes, I took Aaptiv outside and completed two more workouts.
This was my view for glute bridges.
Sunshine and a good workout = happy.
For my first outdoors workout, I did Break Out Those Arms with Candice. This is a body weight only workout, which makes it perfect for being outside or on the road. You can do it anywhere with no preparation at all.
Break Out Those Arms has a lot of variety. I get bored easily, so I really appreciate mixing things up.
Next I chose Booty Pop with Jaime, which was also a body weight only workout. We have a lot of traveling to do the next two weeks, so these body weight workouts are going to be exactly what I need.
Booty Pop is a short glute workout that could be repeated once or twice for an extremely effective workout.
Jaime included: lunges with pulses, squats, and glute bridges. Her booty workouts are always fun, and the music is motivating. I always enjoy training with Jaime, and today was no exception.
